Digital Imagery

Digital imaging is a safe and effective way for dentists and staff at Arbor Dental Group to identify cavities in between your teeth, determine bone level, and analyze the health of your bone. Our dentists and staff can also examine the roots and nerves of teeth, diagnose lesions such as cysts or tumors, and assess damage when trauma occurs.

With digital imaging, exposure time is about 50% less when compared to traditional methods and provides patient images that can be quickly and easily viewed and stored for future reference.

Caries Scan

Our dentists and staff use this state-of-the-art dental technology to detect dental caries before they can be seen by the human eye. Using a small probe that that tests the enamel of each tooth, Our dentists and staff can detect decay in specific teeth before it can be seen in dental images.


velscopeVelscope is a progressive way to discover any signs of oral cancer. Used in conjunction with traditional examination procedures, our dentists and staff use the Velscope to determine if there are any abnormalities present and whether or not a biopsy should be taken. This screening tool has proven to be invaluable, aiding early detection of oral cancer in patients.
